We will work to ensure that the Welsh Government’s new Relationships and Sexuality Education curriculum makes clear the distinction between sex and gender so young people have the objective information they need to understand their bodies, form healthy relationships and make informed choices about their emotional well-being.
We will campaign for RSE teaching and learning resources produced by external organisations to be independently reviewed to ensure they are impartial and evidence-based.
We will support efforts to ensure that schools uphold their obligation to provide separate single sex toilet facilities for girls and boys, with gender neutral toilets provided as additional option.
